I have quite thick curly black hair and over the past year I've noticed it getting a little thinner around the front and back. This is mostly apparent when I wear my hair down (like Tom Welling), however when I've kept it up (which looks something like an afro) i've noticed less hair loss.

Names for our child of a dark brown curly headed man and blonde hair green eyed woman?
My fiance is a dark-brown curly haired, dark brown eyes type, and I have blonde hair and green eyes.
We were thinking of the names:
Girls
Emma
Adalynn- ADA stands for American Diabetes Association (My fiance is type one), and Lynn is my middle name
Jenna
Dallas- I'm putting for the middle name to be Raine
Samantha
Boys:
Seth
Jerry
David
Austin- I'm sure you caught the Texan references- yes thats on purpose! haha
I really want middle names but my fiance is against it... what should I do? I was thinking about telling him ';LOOK, i have to give birth, I think they should have middle names. '; hahahaa

Yes, go for the middle. You get to name the child in the hospital. Personnel will come around during the day and ask what name you want on birth certificate. Just give the one you choose. You do have that right!

Ok firstly, I like Emma and Adalynn for girls, and Seth and Dallas for boys. I know you said Dallas as one of your girls names, but I like it better for a boy. My boyfriend has been struggling for years about what to do with his hair. It's extremely thick and curly, but so thick that the curls never show up, he just looks...fuzzy. His usual solution is to just buzz it all to 1/2 an inch, but then he looks about 14 (if he shaves off his beard too, instead of the 21 that he is.

Well ive been growing my hair out for about 7 months, im guessing its about 4.5 inches long since hair grows at max about .5 inches about, and it was 1 inch long when i got it cut back in december. Anyway i have the type of hair that grows into a fricking afro, it doesnt want to go down :(. As you can imagine i have family members begging me to get it cut, but ive left it because at worst i can put some air glue in and it looks presentable, just looks bad when its not styled. Best men's haircut and hair product for curly hair [Pics Included]?
I've grown my hair out a bit and I love it; however, I plan on cutting/styling/trimming it and have no clue where to start. I've had short hair forever and I'm over it.. I'd like my hair to be managed but still be fairly long or medium length to emphasize the curls/waviness. What haircuts would be best for me (please post links to pics, and give suggestions that I could recommend to a stylist)

Also, what would be a good, daily hair product or conditioner? When I don't shampoo my hair for a couple days, the natural oil makes my curls much more alive and kills frizz. Is there any product that could emulate or enhance this? I use gel or mousse for occasions but I can't stand not being able to run my fingers through my hair. I've tried expensive conditioners from American Crew and organic jojoba-oil based ones, but they don't seem to do the same job my natural oils do. your bangs are way to long, cut them, and grow skater hair. And to emfasize your curls use a curl enhancing cream with a curling shampoo
You have great hair, but it's blocking your face. You're a good looker too, so that's a pity. Go to a hairdresser and get some advice. Sounds as if you'd be better to rely on your natural oils to keep your hair in good shape.

It looks fine after I get out of the shower and brush it, but after about 15 minutes it gets messy.
And if I try to straighten it... it just gets EXTREMELY frizzy.

You have nice hair, but I know it's hard to tame curly/wavy hair so my suggestion is that you grow it longer and use a curl defining spray, when it is still wet, it will make your hair curly with no frizz. And after you let it dry naturally just spray a small amount of hair spray on your hair just to keep it in place.Try Pantene curl defining spray, its only around 3 or 4 dollars, and since your a guy I'm sure you don't enjoy spending hours on your hair, this should only take around 10 mins to do.

When you hair begins to grow out you will begin to see a difference in the texture, your natural kinky texture and the curly texturized texture. Shaved is not good idea for a triangular(pear shaped) face. The goal is to normalize the appearance of the lower face. The sides need some volume or with short styles, at least the upper sides need to be maximized to the width of the jaw, tapering in at the top of the ear.

It is just past collar length and for now it's parted in the middle and I can just tuck the bangs behind my ears. Any longer and work will talk to me about getting it cut, but for now I'm good. By May when I cut it short I will be able to manage to pull it into a pony tail. A very short one but so be it.

What's a hairstyle for men with medium length curly hair? ?
My hair is quite curly... I'm trying to grow it to see how I like it. It's currently about 3 - 3 1/2 inches long. I have no idea what to do with it. I usually go with the messy look. You might try gel if you want a more defined, less messy look. After you get out of the shower put a little conditioner back into your hair, until it feels like wet silk. Then scrunch some gel (LA Looks sport gel is good) into your hair with your hands. Don't touch your hair until it dries (maybe scrunch some of the water out with a t shirt) and you should have frizz free hair. If your hair is crunchy once it has dried, just scrunch out the texture with a little aloe vera gel. I'm not sure what other way there is to wear men's hair... I hope this helps!

Ok, im not metro or anything but im willing to try new things. For the past 3 years my hair has gotten more curly and more curly. Depends on the girl, and it also depends on your personal sense of style. Using a product on your hair can help control the curls a bit, but you can use product and make it appear more natural. If you have shorter curly hair, try putting a small but of moose or gel ( if your hair stands up well on it's own, use gel. if you need more volume, use moose) in you hair and working through well. use a blowdryer and work with the curls. it will give you a very natural look. if you have more questions, feel free to IM me or e-mail me. But that's supposed to keep your hair straight even if you wash it. Just call some salons in your area and ask if they do that service and how much for your length of hair.
Same way a woman would... get a Japanese Thermal Straightening or use a relaxer. But, a really good flat iron and some straightening balm should do the trick.

If your hair is dry you're not providing it with enough moisture. You say you have moisturizing shampoos %26amp; conditioners but are they really moisturizing or do it just say that in the name?
You don't say anything about your hair routine so, i'll just say my two cents
Add a tablespoon of baking soda to a bottle of conditioner, make sure the conditioner does not contain any products that have cone at the end of it's name (these ingredients cause build up), and use that to wash your hair. Now you have a moisturizing conditioner.
I do not know the ingredients of the product you suggest but the oil I use for my hair is Africa's Best Ultimate Herbal Oil with Ginseng, it has nothing but oils in the ingredients and a fragrance all the way at the end. I wash my hair, then put the oil in while my hair is wet, let it sit for 15 min., and wash my hair again. I suggest you shampoo less often and condition more often. Add jojoba oil to your hair and sit in a steam shower to allow the moisture to penetrate your hair. Always apply a leave in conditioner when you hair is wet. That should help with the dryness.

With thick, curly hair, you should definitely invest in the best, ie GHD or equivalent, as cheap straighteners that don't reach 200 degrees or more are going to have little effect, and non-ceramic is going to destroy your hair. They are pretty expensive, but I think you get your money's worth. If your hair is short then you can get thinner straighteners like the ones shown here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GHD-MARK-4-IV-MENS鈥?/a> You will probably find that you wouldn't have to straighten your hair daily, perhaps every other day. To minimise damage to your hair it is advisable to use some sort of heat protection product. My favourite was the GHD barrier spray which cost about a tenner, but there are loads to choose from. Also, perhaps you could use a shampoo which relaxes curls, just to give your hair a head start!

I have a semi curly hair, i love how it looks when wet but not so when its dry, it kinda puffs out to an afro.
I dont want to cut it short but i've did that for 23 years.
